The ACF Rosters
System
is one of the most comprehensive roster systems available for Aged Care in
Australia. The system is fully integrated to a comprehensive Payroll System
which allows you to calculate the cost of a pay run well before it is worked.
By simply
telling the Roster System who did not meet their rostered shifts or using
Electronic Swipe System, the
Payroll System will produce the pay run with minimal user input.
The system is
completely flexible and allows you to set up and maintain your own suite of
shifts and roster profiles.
There a two
methods of creating a roster, the traditional method of allotting shifts to
employees or the more advanced profiling system.

Profiling
Allows you to set out a list of shifts available, including the number of staff
required. All you do is fill in the blanks.
By Profiling a
roster you can see at a glance, if you have a vacant shift and the system colour
codes the vacancies to ensure that they stand out.
By coupling the
rosters to the employee availability system (see
Payroll & HR) you can find an employee to fill a vacant shift quickly and
easily, thus avoiding expensive agency fees.
A profile can
then be connected to a standard roster.
Both the
profile and standard rosters can be fully costed and produce accurate estimates
of the actual cost of the payroll for the period being constructed, including
on-costs such as leave accruals payroll tax, superannuation, public holidays,
workers compensation and other costs making the roster system a valuable
budgeting tool.
