Clair Dewan TRAINING SESSIONS 2010
In February 2010 Clare Dewan and Associates will conduct workshops on two topics, those being the Fair Work act and how it affects aged care providers in day to operations, inclusive of the national employment standards, and on dealing with disciplinary matters, long term absences, adverse action, basic recruitment tolls, roster issues and other basic employment management issues. The two sessions will be run separately but on the same day so people can chose to attend one each day or both on one day. The FWA session will take approximately two and a half hours and the other session about two hours. These sessions will be suitable for anyone who is not familiar with the FWA and those responsible for dealing with staff on day to day issues, including recruitment and disciplinary issues. I have attached a registration form for those who are interested, and I will send this out again at the end of January. The workshops can also be run in house on site or regionally.
